Entrepreneurial Creativity: An Agile Mind that Thinks the Unthinkable

April 25 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

“You can’t teach a man anything; you can only help him to find the answer within himself” -Galileo Galilei

Creative Mind:  Entrepreneurs strive to create more opportunities in industry and in their daily lives, providing more employment options and ultimately having a positive impact on society, income, lifestyle, values, among others.  Their nature is to find solutions to problems. Their minds are constantly challenged by different factors that force them to go beyond their comfort zone.  Thus, creativity is one of the most valued skills they have, and since creativity can be trained, it is important to understand how our mind can break old patters to formulate new ideas.

Workshop Description: When facing a professional challenged it is common to hear “to think outside the box”. However, how can we do that when life seems to be so structured and lineal?  To believe that creativity cannot be learned is a myth. This workshops aims to teach participants different rules, and then break them, about everything the brain can do to develop creativity.  With the use of different practical methods and techniques, participants will learn to stimulate their brain and mind to be able not only to think outside box but also to challenge the box, because the more ones sees the nature of creativity challenge, the easiest is to find solutions to mental blocks.

Workshop Outline: The workshop covers the following areas: The relationship between entrepreneurship and creativity; Understanding Mental Blocks;  Developing new niches through creativity and entrepreneurship; Creating new ideas for competitive advantage  Thinking the unthinkable.  Creating new products for existing services and new services for existing products.
